Taking on new Shopify & growth projects

I build the systems that make stores grow.

Product Owner & R&D lead based in Giza, Egypt. I design and run end-to-end commerce: Shopify architecture, attribution, automation, and the operations that keep a small team moving fast.

What I can take
off your plate

Four kinds of engagement, each one I've run end to end on a live store, not just advised on.

01

Shopify builds

Storefront architecture, custom sections, metaobjects, and a native-app layer once the store outgrows a template.

02

Growth & attribution audits

Finding where ad spend actually converts versus where it just takes the credit, then fixing the funnel underneath.

03

Operational automation

Agent-driven workflows for inventory, reporting and support that remove the manual steps a growing team can't keep up with.

04

Embedded product ownership

Roadmap, prioritisation and the discipline to ship narrow and verify, working inside your team rather than beside it.

Expertise

How I think
about the work

Four habits that show up in every project I touch, whatever the size of the store.

Data before opinions

Every recommendation is checked against real order, session and ad data before it ships, not after.

Automate the repeatable

If a task runs weekly, it gets scripted or agent-run. People handle judgment calls, not data entry.

Ship narrow, verify, expand

Small releases tested against real behaviour, then widened once the numbers back the change up.

Own the full stack

Product, storefront, logistics and the numbers that tie them together: the whole chain, not one slice.

What I'm building

Three ventures at three different stages, plus the operating layer that runs underneath them.

E-commerce · Egypt

Petfast

Pet food and supplies on Shopify for Giza and greater Cairo. I own the roadmap: native app, attribution, CRO, and the ops layer from checkout to doorstep.

Creatures

Desert and nature camping trips across Egypt, moving toward lower-footprint operations through NGO partnerships.

Operations

The operating layer

Catalogue mapping, inventory, reporting and automation agents: the systems work behind the storefronts, built once and reused across ventures.

Working together

Pick a starting point

Every engagement is scoped to the store in front of me. These are the three shapes most projects take.

Audit

Growth audit

Typically 1–2 weeks

A clear read on where your funnel and ad spend really stand, with a prioritised fix list.

  • Attribution & ad-spend review
  • Funnel and checkout analysis
  • Prioritised action plan

Process

How a project moves

The same four steps whether it's a storefront build or a growth audit.

Step one

Diagnose

Pull the real data first, orders, sessions and ad spend, before proposing anything.

01
Step two

Plan

Turn findings into a scoped, prioritised plan with clear guardrails and a definition of success.

02
Step three

Build

Ship the narrowest version that tests the idea: in Shopify, in the app, or in the ad account.

03
Step four

Verify & expand

Check the change against real numbers before widening it. If it didn't move the metric, say so and try the next one.

04
Principles I work by
“If it isn't measured against real orders, it isn't a result yet.”
On growth work
“Anything that runs every week should run without me.”
On automation
“Ship the smallest version that can prove you wrong.”
On product
“A store is a logistics company with a nice front door.”

FAQ

Questions people usually ask

Something else on your mind? Email is the fastest way to reach me.

Ask me directlyAsk me directly
Do you work with teams outside Egypt?

Yes. Petfast and Creatures are Egypt-based, but the Shopify and attribution work carries over directly to any MENA or international store on the same stack.

Do you take short audits or only long engagements?

Both. A funnel or attribution audit is usually a 1–2 week scoped engagement. Product ownership or a full storefront build runs longer.

What's the Shopify studio?

A Shopify-only partner for SMEs starting or scaling e-commerce, built on the same approach used to run Petfast. It isn't live yet, so reach out if you'd like early access.

What do you need from me to get started?

Access to your store and ad accounts (read-only is fine for an audit), your current goals, and a short call to understand where the team spends its time.
